Can This Year Actually Be The Year?
The Team. The Time. The New York Mets.
Your Season has come.
Those slogans did not work, and were embarrassments to the Mets. We have not done anything to be the team, nor have we done anything to symbolize that your season has come. All we have done is come tremendously close to success, only to fall right back down and attempt to climb the ladder again.
I am sick of it.
The Mets have been nothing to remember the last 2 years. The only thing I remember about the last two years is Adam Wainwright and Tom Glavine. I don’t think about the 2006 NL East Champions. Because that means nothing.
New York fans want championships.
Can this actually be the season, the season where we CAN say that this is the team, and the time?
Yes.
Our team may be almost the same, but after two years of being embarrassed, I think it is time for the New York Mets to show that they can win.
Let’s Go Mets.

…These Mets have been the most memorable to remember, be it good or bad, since I remember truly following the team. Granted, Tommy, I have a few years on you, so I go back a little longer on teams, but these last two years have been simply magical…
